Business Excellence Awards Nomination

The Coupeville Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards, honor both MEMBER BUSINESSES, INDIVIDUAL & NONPROFIT for outstanding contributions to the economic health and quality of life in Central Whidbey Island.

A panel of judges (members of the Coupeville Board of Directors & staff/Community Leaders) will review the nominations submitted taking into consideration the criteria required for each category. The Awards will be presented at our Awards & Installation Dinner to be held March 22, 2018 at the Rec Hall in Coupeville.

GENERAL CRITERIA: Any Chamber Member in good standing may nominate a business/nonprofit for recognition (including their own). Only chamber members in good standing are eligible for recognition. Nominees should be those whose business /nonprofit practices outstanding professional conduct, contributes to the economic impact of Coupeville and Central Whidbey, supports the activities of the Coupeville Chamber, and helps promote Coupeville and Central Whidbey as a good place in which to do business.


Small businesses are the mainstay of our community. This award recognizes a business of less than 25 employees which has been in business for at least 4 years. Specific criteria considered for this award: unique marketing strategy and success, provides excellent products or services, community involvement, and exceptional informed customer service.


This award recognizes outstanding management practices among Coupeville’s diverse nonprofit community. The nonprofit organization nominated must have been operating for more than 4 years and contributed to the betterment of the Coupeville community.


The Business Leadership Award is one who has gone "above and beyond" in their business, civic and community involvement, creating a lasting and beneficial impact on local business and the community as a whole. The recipient of this Award will be the “Grand Marshall” in Coupeville’s Annual Greening of Coupeville Christmas Parade.


Complete information is essential to properly evaluate the nominee. Only ONE Category per Nomination Form. The Nominator is encouraged to bring their nominee to the event as all nominations will be recognized. Winners will be announced March 22nd.
