Greening of Coupeville Parade

Following the Jingle Trail Run, the parade begins at 4:15 PM from 1st and Wilkes. The route goes down North Main to Front Street, then up Alexander to the Coupeville Library. Stick around afterwards to enjoy caroling and the lighting of the tree at Cooks Corner Park (9th and North Main). Shops and restaurants in the Coupeville Historic District will be open late. The Oak Harbor Yacht Club's Lighted Boat Parade is scheduled to sail by the Coupeville Wharf around 5:45 (weather permitting). The Parade lineup will be announced soon!



Groups, businesses, organizations, and clubs are welcome to register for the Greening of Coupeville parade! Make the best float you can, or gather your friends or coworkers together to walk in this idyllic small town parade that kicks off a Coupeville Christmas!

Please note changes:
  • PARADE WILL START PROMPTLY AT4:15PM
  • LINE UP WILL BEGIN AT 3.00PM ON WILKES AND 1ST(enter line up at Alexander and Wilkes)
  • IF YOU NEED TO DECORATE UPON ARRIVAL PLEASE ADJUST YOUR TIMEACCORDINGLY
  • ALL PARADE ENTRIES MUST BE IN PLACE BY 3.50P.M.
  • WE RECOMMEND WALKERS DO NOT COME TOO EARLY AS THERE IS NO SHELTER OR BATHROOMS
  • N. MAIN FROM 1ST TO DOWNTOWN WILL BE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC WHEN PARADE STARTS
  • YOUR FLOAT/ENTRY MUST BE PARADE READY BY 3.50PM TO BE INCLUDED IN JUDGING
  • EXCEPT FOR SPECIFIC ENTRIES THAT ARE ASSIGNED TO BE AT THE FRONT AND AT THE BACK OF THE PARADE YOU WILL BE LINED UP IN THE ORDER YOU ARRIVE
