Lace up your hiking boots and hit the trails at Fort Ebey State Park. Fort Ebey has an extensive trail system through forested glacial kettles. The system also connects to Island County’s Kettles Trails system for more exploring. Bring a flashlight to explore the World War II era battery overlooking Admiralty Inlet and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Beach access is also available. Fort Ebey’s campground is open from March through October. There are also two picnic shelters available for day use. Reservations for the campground or shelters can be made on the website or by calling 888-CAMPOUT (888-226-7688). Discover Pass Required
