Island Shakespeare Festival provides accessible classical theatre realized for a contemporary audience. We offer three plays in rotating repertory outdoors during the summer, and various in person and virtual programming throughout the year. We invite audiences to come as they are and pay what they will because we believe the essential cultural experience of live theatre must be accessible to everyone.We are guided by our values of anti-racism, accessibility, intersectional inclusivity, excellence, and regenerative sustainability. Our network of artists spans across the country, and we are proud to elevate the arts on Whidbey Island with professional productions meant to entertain and enlighten.
