Detailed Information

The Pacific Rim Institute (PRI) is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit located on a jewel of Central Whidbey – 175 acres of forest and rare savanna and glacial outwash prairie. We equip people and communities to live sustainably and care for creation. PRI provides practical formal and informal education and works to restore and add biodiversity to our site and many other locations throughout the Puget Sound region including Protection Island and San Juan Island. We have facilities for rental and over two miles of trails through our prairie, savanna and forest. Tours of our site including our Native Plant Center are available upon request. Come find your niche as a volunteer some time!
