Whidbey Island Kayaking provides exceptional experiences of the unique scenery, wildlife, and culture of Whidbey Island by offering locals and guests guided kayak and paddle board tours, classes, and rentals.
All of our services are given with premium equipment and an intense focus on safety, stewardship, and respect. Our whole team values inquisitiveness, lifelong learning, and being open to new ways to collaborate with our community. We have been happily serving paddlers since 2002 in the Salish Sea.
Our instruction is given online and in-person. Our beginning classes are ideal for those gearing up to get into the sport and our intermediate clinics support those who wish to rejuvenate their skills, such as rescues or trip planning. Our popular ‘Weather, Tides, and Currents’ class is invaluable for those new to then island, wether they are looking to paddle or simply want to know when to walk our beaches safely.
We make getting out on the water easy by delivering kayaks and paddle boards to residences/short-term rentals/public launches for full or multi-day rentals. We also offer 90 minute rentals at the Port of South Whidbey in Langley.
