Whidbey’s Saratoga Orchestra is a professional orchestra whose mission is to entertain, educate, and enrich the Whidbey Island community through music with performances and special events throughout the year. Our objectives and values are to present a unique and varied musical repertoire, and to perform in a professional manner with the highest standard of artistic integrity; to enhance the awareness and reputation of Whidbey Island as a cultural destination; and to collaborate with other artistic disciplines to augment and enhance the performing arts experience. Founded in 2007, Whidbey’s Saratoga Orchestra has gained national attention for innovative programming featuring women and BIPOC composers. Over 2500 elementary students have participated in our Carnegie Hall Link Up collaboration with local music teachers and our popular summer workshops, Percussion on the Rock and Pacific Northwest Conducting Institute welcome participants to Whidbey Island from around the world.
